( Not to change the subject again, but, have you ever noticed that there is no date code on Hostess Twinkies? I think they bake in the wrapper through some mysterious chemical process and remain fresh (sic) for eternity!! )

Conversely, why is there an expiration date for sour cream? What's going to happen to it, is it going to get MORE sour? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

( Ah hah!

Mike and Garry, your replies have uncovered the root-cause of my confusion. I do not drink coffee in any form. Now that I think of it, I do not drink hot beverages of any kind.

Hmm , as matter of fact, I don't drink beer either. And, six weeks ago I gave up drinking sugary drinks too.

Good news: I've lost 15 lbs

Bad news: It appears I'm really dull and don't get out much

I'm with you on that Jerry. I too didn't have a clue about these sleeves, but then again, I don't know much of what drinks are out there past the Caffine Free, Sodium Free, Sugar Free, Aspartame Free Diet Rite. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

No caffine and no sugar, but I can seem to lose any weight and I'm still awake at 1:15 AM.
I don't get it! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Not only has returning to 2nd shift screwed up my eating and sleeping, and my social life, it has also taken away my SEAT TIME! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Twinkies! I recently read about the new rage in upper crust bar food. Push a hot dog thru a Twinkie. Deep fat fry the thing, then cover it in Velveeta cheese with ketchup on the side. Chase with beer.

Yuck! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Do you and the rest of the crew think that if I cultivate my taste in good coffee, it will also cultivate my prowness with computers?? )

Maybe, but it would definitely improve your spelling "prowness!" /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Sorry, couldn't resist!

Way back when when there only punched cards entered into the computer system there was talk of stepping on one with a golf shoe and getting surprizing results.

In this new day and age perhaps if you spill the coffee onto the key board amazing things may occur.

MikePA -- Records show we had just switched lots of packaging film that day. I'd be very interested in getting the empty package back for analysis. Please PM me a shipping address and I'll replace it no charge. Thanks.

Just to make sure everyone is clear - nothing bad EVER happens when wearing golf shoes. Yes, surprising things can happen, such as the ball going in a completely different direction than anticipated, planned, or hoped for. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Of course, in some instances this might be a good thing! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Ok, I'll bite. What's a cup sleeve??
Jerry
It must be a Southeast Michigan thing. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Until I read this thread I had never heard cup sleeve? /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I had my first experience with a cup sleeve yesterday at a Krispy Kreme donut shop. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I just don't get all the excitement. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I stopped at Tim Horton's yesterday and got a large coffee, no need for the cup sleeve as I had an insulated mug in the truck. Before I could get into the truck the heat was burning my fingers. With a sleeve I would have felt nothing. That's what the excitement is /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know if I would call it excitment. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I would call it pain!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Did I mention that my cup did not get hot with the sleeve. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
But itwas too hot to drink. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
