Canopy Mirror & lights on Canopy?

   / Mirror & lights on Canopy? #11
I haven't gotten around to mounting lights on the new LS yet, as I am going to do my own slightly shorter ROPS and canopy (I know, i know, but it's probably not as dangerous to me as riding motorcycles or going to sea on a diesel sub was). On my old Cub Cadet the forward facing lights (two) were on the front of the canopy, and the rearward larger flood was hanging under the roll bar. They are a great help at night. Both tractors have a second battery, on an isolator, mounted aft of the seat. That battery is there for the Warn winch that is mounted on the box blade. The Cub's lights run off that battery through an inline fuse holder. If I run those lights without the engine running and run down the battery, the starting battery isn't affected. The canopy lights have an aftermarket plunger style light switch right below the canopy on the mount. It's very easy to reach.

Better to light a few flood lights than to curse the darkness, eh?
