Mirrors I got for Canadian tractor owners

Their nice, but it looks like you can't adjust them, "up or down" once bolted.
Only side to side.

Actually they are on a ball and socket type hinge and there's lots of up and down movement.

I'm glad you found those here in Canada laminated. I saw 4shorts original post when he came up with that and I really wanted to do this.
Thanks to you both for the great ideas.

Your kindly welcome

Hey lamanated, Can the mirrors in your link be adjusted up and down once they have been mounted ?
I couldn,t tell from the picture, or the product description. Are they the same as the ones 4shorts has used, or different ?
I know his can swivel up and down.

His mirrors mount different than mine but the swivel part is the exact same.

4shorts.......do they give you enough vision that I could use them to snowblow backwards without having to look backwards all the time?

Do you have a pic or can you tell me where you posted any of your chainsaw mount. Another good idea from you!!

I usually use my Polaris to harvest my firewood all summer, but I may start using the Kubota as I'm going to get a hydraulic dumping Weber Lane dump trailer. It'll save me a bit of handbombing.

I guess you could use them if your really used to using your mirrors and after looking at your avatar you'd do it ;)

Here's a few photos. Thanks!

I have similar mirrors and they work pretty well for snow blowing once you get them adjusted.

Thanks for the info Paul. Sounds like they will do the job.

Thanks 4shorts. Quite the setup you got there. Imagine you made that saw press eh? Very nice. I need a grapple now!! LOL.

Yes, I use mirrors. I get infuriated every time I watch Canada's Worst Driver and they are teaching them to look out the back window while reversing. And then wonder why they are side swiping everything in their path, lol.

Yes I designed and built the saw saddle. Thanks. Oh I know what you mean about using mirrors and not using them. I used to be a heavy equipment operator and you'd be surprised how many "professional" drivers can't back up using their mirrors.

I remember operating a Cat 992 and this guy kept backing up under my bucket with a 50 ton haulage truck with his head out the window. I told him to use his mirror because a rock could fall off the bucket and kill him. The next trip back to the loader he did it again so I called safety and they got him out of there

Congrats on the new mirrors

I think I paid $26. Cdn for my mirrors. No I never bought a kit. I did buy a horn button that was intended for a golf cart but I used a relay then used a horn off a Grand L.

Mine were $25 with free shipping on Amazon.

The mirrors were $29.99 plus hst.....so $32 sounds about right. No shipping either.

Hey 4shorts I ran a 992 also in our local steel mill. I love the ones with the joystick steering. I was loading my dump truck with sinter fines though. Visibility not that great loading a "small" truck.
