Yep. Me too, I thought that it had crashed. All the conspiracy theories seem too complex to me. Somebody already mentioned "Occam's Razo".

Some ideas from news article comments.

1. Why aren't they using the Hubble telescope to look for it?

2. Why are all the satellites taking pictures pointed down? The plane may have flown over them.

3. It crashed in the ocean. They should have dropped scuba divers to look for it.

4. If it flew at a 45 degree angle upward until the fuel ran out, it could then glide really far away.

Today is a new day so now there's a new theory that it didn't fly are far as first thought. The new search zone has been moved northeast nearer to Australia. At this point they are still just grabbing at straws.

Well lets see, a little over 3 weeks, and we don't have a clue what happened to that aircraft and all the people in it. Perhaps someone does, but I don't. Sunk in the Indian ocean, yeah probably, but not a single piece of wreckage found, not a peep from the multiple ELT transmitters on board the aircraft. What happened to them? They can't be turned off by the pilots. I just dunno what happened, or where that thing is.

no phone calls from the passengers? Perhaps they were "gassed" while they were sleeping, so were un-conscious. then either killed or sold (body-parts?) awful thought, but TODAY 3-31-14 pieces found in the Indian Ocean were fishing debris, NOT from the plane.
