Just got the chance to view that disk on ebay. Wow ! For 200 bucks I'd jump on it too. The yellow color finish is not the Woods brand but it looks good. I'd just make sure it's a local purchase (US) and not Europe, Africa, etc (possible scam).

Long time no hear ole timer. How's the fleet of BXs doing ? The St Robert/Waynesville communities border the Northern side of FT Wood along with I-44. Our new property is about 8 miles from the West gate and 10 miles from the main gate. There's a lot of historical value in Waynesville. I've never seen four National landmarks in such a small town (pop 3,700). Trail of Tears, old stagecoach/pony express stop, civil war battle site and Old Rt 66

The cost to live in south central Missouri is a heck of a lot cheaper then where we came from (FT Hood, Texas and Denver, Colorado). Going to pick up a new rear blade today in Houston, Missouri. The ole farmer/dealer says he'll take $190 cash. Got the trailer hitch and lights installed last night. They look good.

Gents,
The new front work lights look great and I installed the BXpanded trailer hitch. Haven't used it yet but I will in the near future.

On a side note, was wondering if anyone knows the brand of this rear blade. Mr Farmer/dealer in Houston, MO said he didn't remember which auction he picked it up at and couldn't remember the brand name. Any guesses ???

It's not orange yet but it will be by tomorrow night. I picked up two cans of Kubota orange spray paint on my way home.

By the way, have you decided if you're going to get that tractor and restore it ?

Im trying to convince my mom its not a piece of junk. I really want to buy it but need to wait till tomarrow to see what it would cost for NewHolland to rebuild the tranny. If I get it, would it look good in Kubota orange?

I'm sure you are kidding about the Kubota orange but just in case you have to trust me on this one. If you're going to restore a tractor then restore it to its original parts and color. Just ask Flusher and a few others. These guys have been around for a few years and they know how to restore.

I still think you should go with modern technology and get a new tractor (only because you are the one kind of teenager that has responsibility and self discipline). If on the other hand you go with a restoration project then I say go for it because you'll attack that project with the same enthusiasm !!
