Re: Mitsubishi MT210D Tractors & Atachments
I sold my MT210D 10 days ago, after owning it a year. I highly recommend
Valley Power for help with parts and advice. My MT210D had 402 hours on it when I sold it, 369 when I bought it. I live in foothills of the Sierra mountains, and have some steep grades and lots of oak trees. The first change I made was to built a ROPS, as the 210D is tall and narrow. According to the dealer, the front end is the weak link, and if it's not maintained will wallow out around the pins and break. He has three in the salvage yard like that. Given that, I would not put a loader on one. YMMV.
Mine was not enough tractor for my terrain. Even with loaded tires and 200lbs of weights in front, it could not pull a 5' rotary cutter up the steeper hills. It would either spin out or overheat. It was great on small grades or flatland. I bought it with a well-worn 4' rotary cutter, a 5' back blade, a 4' disc, and a single plow for $3200. After coming to the realization that a tractor is needed for my property, and I needed a bigger, heavier, more powerful one, I sold the tractor with full disclosure on overheating it, 4' rc, and back blade on Craigslist to a local dealer for $1500 - and he promptly relisted it for $5500. Trade in value was $500.
It was a great introduction to tractors, and would make a great flatland 4WD utility/garden tractor. Call Valley Power Products (
Valley Power) and tell him what you want to do with it. He's very knowledgeable, and freely shares his knowledge. He saved my backside a couple of times (don't "tap" a cast iron linkage arm for any reason!) and his manuals reprints are very clear. I bought both the owners and service manuals from him, as well as several parts that were long OOP.
