I told you I was going to be nice to you today, but if you keep this up the gloves will have to come off. Don't blame me for high steel prices. It has something to do with entrepenures (I know I can't spell) selling all of our scrap to China or where ever a couple of years ago. It drove steel prices thru the roof and they have not come down since.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know of a single person over in China that is eating Lobsta and Fillet Mignon every single night. Methinks there may be *other* reasons closer to home for the high price of steel!

It is, but I have gotten so that it doesn't bother me that much anymore. My brother hates it, wishes that I would take it off. I should check it out to see if I could get it to work with an on-off switch, that would be cool.

I kinda hope Jeremy is around! But if not, does anyone else have any idea what these two 3/4" holes are for on the ML112 FEL's boom??? Believe it or not, I have a legitimate reason for asking... this is not just random contemplation of one's navel.

Please don't ask me what the winner gets. You all know the Dougster is broke!

They are tooling holes. Sometimes used as alignment holes.......or just plain old reference points. They are definitely used to start conversations and keep them going.

The holes are merely the addition of lightness so you dont have to lift any more dead weight than necessary..... So you have my legitimate answer - whats your legitimate reason.

I wouldn't answer that one without a detailed description (pictures and CAD drawings included) of the intended use. Then I would still think twice about any guarantee.

Hi Larry - First off, I don't think you're answer is as legitimate as you claim! Secondly, I will only say that it has something to do with the new routing and termination of my new (currently on order) longer, smaller diameter grapple lines. More detail than that is going to require some more thought and experimentation.
