Loctite's patent has expired you can buy the same chemical formula in another bottle a bunch cheaper. Not to say threadlocker is threadlocker, I'm sure there are some of not so good quality. Most fastner stores can direct you to one that is of the same quality as Loctite. Last I bought was at Fastenal and I literally got more than 10 times what I would have gotten in the Loctite brand.
On another note I had the same thing happening with the 6000 and the plastic insert nuts have lasted about 800 hours on it.

Which color Loctite did you use? Thanks!!

I am thinking it was RED Locktite. Not sure now.
