Hi Bill. Actually, it's surprisingly stable in the upright position considering the short wheelbase. Very easy to roll up tight to a wall for storage. Just be carefull not to hit a bump or divot while rolling or you'll end up with a sore toe! ... Steve
**** why didn't I think of that. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif That is a great idea. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Steve,
It's a good idea, when in the upright position, to tie the mower fast to a post or something so it will not tip over, just in case the neighbor kids decide to play in you shop.
Steve,
Here's a photo of the wheel set that I made. I just need to give them a coat of orange paint. I use my BX2200 for about 98% mowing so I don't take the mower off except for cleaning and sharpening the blades.
Very nice, Bill. The wider base should provide better stability for sharpening, cleaning, etc. Also, good point about securing the vertical MMM to something substantial while in storage. .... Steve
