So? I've never seen a disc opener, only had plow type.

I was curious if this was factory from jd or if its modified. if you google model 71 planter they all seem to have disc openers and i was wanting to get more info on how to dial this in after restoring it. Im not sure what all its missing so any info would help.

Maybe someone used to plows had it before, but it looks factory to me. It may just be older. As in a till drill instead of a no till drill.
