what did the "grand" series tractor provide?

Does the pannel look like this?
Kubota Grand L30 Series, IntelliPanel

If so, it is likely a L30 Grand Series.

I agree with the earlier post. It does look like the ID tag is visible in the photo if it is blown up 400%.

What does Grand get you? Here's the "Features" listed in some sales literature...
1) Wider Fender Interval - 5.5" wider than on the Grand L10 series
2) Heavy Duty Front Axle
3) Power Steering
4) Foldable ROPS
5) Deluxe Seat
6) Open floor Seat
7) Easier access to Engine Oil Level Indicator
8) Telescopic Lower Link Ends
9) 2 tandem large hydraulic cylinder delivers a 20% increase in 3-point hitch lift capacity

The dash looks like the one in your link. It has the checked look in the center of the steering wheel, digital like your link.

So - if I find out the engine casting / stamped numbers I should be able to then know what size grand L series it is.

How would I know if the tractor has a mid mount PTO?

Thanks for all your help

Scott

Tractor ID Tag: Are you certain it is not there as described in the earlier links? If it is missing perhaps this tractor is stolen.

Dash: It is Grand L30 series then. Just not certain which one at this point.

Mid PTO: Either look for the shaft under the tractor or look for the lever on the lower right hand side (as seated on tractor) near the floor and towards the fender. If there is an onen slot and no lever in this area it doesn't have the mid pto.

Engine ID Tag: Not certain what is on this tag or how to ID the various engines.

I take it the tractor is not nearby or you would have looked it over yourself... Something sounds fishy to me too. The tag should be on the frame, and letters (decal) on the hood. It looks like a grand L30 series to me. Get more and better photos, and lots of them..or I would not prusue it further as it may be stolen or scam.

Nvr-enuf, I just figured out there are 2 message threads going on this same tractor. It's an Lxx30 - something. Has the smaller FEL, so it's probably an L3130, L3430 or L3830. Those would all be 3 cyl. engines.

It has had some cosmetic repair, but not a full restoration with decals, etc. If the serial no. tag is not in place, I'd be kind of cautious about the tractor. Cosmetic fix-ups can cover up other more serious problems. How many hours?

In the other thread, I gave you a link to photos of a brand new 3430 from 2005. You can compare placement of decals, etc. to see what's different.

Yes - I had two threads, sorry.

Supposedly a little over 800 hours. I am thinking that they washed the tractor alot, was pwned by a municipality therefore the numbers and tag came off.

On the 2005's the model number tag is GLUED on from what I saw from another tractor for sale therefore if it was washed alot, this could have happened.

It is not local - and yes, if I were to get serious I would likely spend the $$ and see it in person to know if it was repainted.

The guy says it is 35HP therefore I assume it is a L3430

looks like my L3410, fits the description you are giving.

Strange for a plate to be missing.
