Can the lift arms be cut off and a Quick Hitch system like Pats be welded on them so you won't be effecting the length of your top link.

The lower links on the L3400 have a bend at the end and the turnbuckle will get in the way.
The good news is that you can buy a rod end extension for your cylinder if you need it. The cylinder may have enough travel already.
