modifying a disk by adding a plow

Has anyone ever seen or heard about a 3pt attachment that is a set of 2 or 3 bottom plows on one side and flip it over and its a set of disks? I have seen both plows and disks with wheel sets that you can set the depth with or use when transporting them but a fellow told me about a plow/disk combo he had seen awhile back. If you have any info or pictures on something like this I would like to hear from your. I don't really want to weld anything to the back of my 3btm plow so I am looking for something lighter to weld a set of disks to I guess. Thanks Hog

Never seen or heard of that type of deal before. Maybe it was a backyard monster?

Interesting. Never seen one with shares on one side and disks on the other. Rollover plows as they're called have plow shares on both top and bottom. When you get to the end of the field, the plow "rolled over" and you could go back down the same furrow you just came up. They were somewhat popular in certain parts of the country.

Pretty sure IH made them. Maybe JD. Probably others.

Hog slayer, saw your question right after you posted it and will join in with have never seen such in farm use. If 3 pth how would it roll over and not be to large and heavy?

Won't work for the simple reason that you wouldn't be able to lift it up high enough to flip it over and not hit the ground.

I have seen plows on both sides. when you turn them over you can turn around and plow back the other direction. That disk you are talking about looks like a plow that uses a large disk insted of a molboard I have seen several like that but never both types on the same plow..........Larry
