BTW, thalidomide is back on the market. It turns out it only caused birth defects if the mother was B vitamin deficient, so they manufacture the pill in combination with B vitamins. Problem solved.

Try GMO crops. The Woo crowd is convinced they should be avoided, but we have been eating them for decades with no bad effect. They are completely harmless. And of course you know that one reefer will lead you into a life of sin and degradation.

We know exactly why all of the things you list are harmful. The mechanism has been studied and is well understood.

And so you believe that "science" is omnipotent, there is no ignorance on their part and since they are unaware of any "mechanisms" in compounds they must not exist?...must be blissful...!

This is just the modern version of witchcraft trials. Nobody has ever shown in vitro or in vivo chromosomal damage from glyphosate. With no mechanism, it's just magic and superstition.

If You Accept Science, You Accept Roundup Does Not Cause Cancer | American Council on Science and Health

Let us all hope that Roundup does not cause cancer. We consume and awful lot of products containing glyphosate. If one drinks beer or wine it is also in beer and wine.

I don't "believe" anything. I'm willing to change my mind based on evidence. I think there is massive ignorance on the part of the general public.

Much has been made of the link that shows a "41% increased incidence of non-Hodgkins lymphoma," but the authors of the study cherry-picked their results. They examined the 5, 10, 15 and 20 year exposure populations. The 5, 10, and 15 year cohorts actually showed a lower rate for NHL, with only the 20 year group showing an increased rate. Meta-studies are prone to manipulation, and don't "prove" anything. All they do is point to areas of possible new research. They don't actually do any research themselves.

If you drink beer or wine, you have a lot bigger problems than glyphosate. You don't have to do research to find out that alcohol is a poison that kills people. Just visit the morgue.

Generally speaking glyphosate is also non addictive, cheaper and having it in one’s system doesn’t usually lead to killing others.(intentionally or otherwise)

Ignorance is not prejudice...the only part of the equation that the "general public" is involved with is as consumers and those serving on juries...The "experts" on both sides testifying (educating an ignorant jury) in these trials have taken a lesson from the AGW experts in cherry-picking and manipulating (or just downright changing) data to suit their purposes...

At last count there were over 11,000 lawsuits against Bayer/monsanto over roundup, many are class action where a single C.A. suit represent many plaintiffs...if nothing else these so called "witch hunts" will at least get more of the "evidence" studied...

I'm curious what GMO crops have been around for decades.
