I use a heavy RV grade extension cord . it makes a big difference.

boy i need a tooth bar. looks good.

I added a tooth bar to mine last week, two bolts on and off. So far I have found the tooth bar really helps to dig and pick up. Disadvantage is scoping up dirt your trying to corner. Tooth bar keeps you from getting a clean cut and lift from a cut point. Other than that, it seems great. It also give some extra length when spreading dirt in dump truck.
