What, not green? I like the looks of that Anbo and can see it will probably work as a back rake too.

I thought it was going to be green but I am not too concerned about it!!

If money was no option I believe Anbo would be the grapple to have if you wanted the clamshell style; their size, style, and weight is suited for compact tractors very well. But at $3k plus shipping then your hoses and such it becomes expensive for just an occasional use implement. If your tractor was going to be dedicated to a grapple them maybe it's worth it.

Instead I just bought the W.R. Long and installed it last weekend. Didn't get any action shots yet but if I can figure out how to post a photo I can get newely installed photos. W.R. Long is just a little more than half the price of Anbo and the Millonzi is creeping up on the W.R. Long price these days.

The guy you're looking for is Islandtractor. He has a true grapple and has posted about a million pictures of his uses..

:D Let's not exaggerate, not more than a thousand pictures so far.

I like 3RRL's bucket grapple too. I understand not everyone can justify a separate grapple, but I cannot imagine why everyone does not have at least a bucket grapple unless all you do with your loader is scoop horse poop. I'd love to see someone build a bucket grapple with a true clamshell (wide) single clamp that covered about half or more of the width of the bucket. That's what I would do if I were to fabricate one.

I documented my Millonzi LD48 install here.

I've tried to get on the site for that company I've heard about here from a few folks, but it never works. Now I can't remember the name, but I think it sound kind of Italian.

I also want to be able to use it as a rake. I'm taking many cedars down, so I'll have stick like debris for years to come if I don't get it all up. What do you use, about how much was it and how do I get one?

Oh, and let's see some pictures. I know I am not the only one that loves pictures!

As mentioned above, I think the Millonzi is what you are referring to. Of note, for your size tractor the 48" light duty should be fine. Cost is roughly $800 or so plus shipping for the universal skid steer mount and about $100-150 more for a pin specific model. I'd suggest getting the universal and then getting an adapter.

I've argued frequently that there is no reason to get a grapple as wide as your standard loader so even though your loader may be 66", there is no real benefit to having a grapple that wide IMO. It just costs more and because it is heavier it will decrease your net lift capacity. I have a 48LD on my loader which is bigger than the CX300 and I think it is just fine.

The WRLong RGB2 48 and 60 are really nice grapples. The smaller clamshells are better at picking up sticks than the Millonzi but probably about the same for most other tasks. I had my eye on one until I found out the price compared to the Millonzi. I just couldn't justify the difference in price. It is mostly a function of the fact that the WRLongs are only sold through dealers while the Millonzi is available factory direct.

My setup is very much like 3RRLs, but I have a 60" bucket and a single Add-A-Grapple in the center. I could have two running side by side, but figured one would get the job done. I do about all the stuff he shows in his pictures with my DX-29. The Add-a-Grapple is made by Precision Manufacturing here in the good ole' USA and probably has a large amount of domestic content.

Yah it was Milonzi I was talking about. I did get ahold of them and got a price of $1600 and change, so the price has gone up. I went ahead and ordered an Anbo and it will probably be right at $3k by the time it is shipped. I'm hoping to justify it to the IRS as a needed item against the proceeds of logging.

I hope it is worth the extra $. I should have done this last month because I need it right now.

Is the $1600 price for the 60 inch Millonzi or the 48? I imagine it is the 60 with double grapples. I've never seen the advantage of that over the 48 myself and as the 48 sells for somewhere around $900 it is still the best bang for the buck.

For all you $3000 Anbo owners...please post some photos or descriptions of things you can do that cannot be done with a simple lightweight grapple!!!
