It seems I can never find the threads I want to see when I'm looking for them. Someone out there has some great pictures of their tractor doing all the stuff I need to do with a grapple. I'm trying to find a good one now that won't break the bank and I can get ahold of soon.

I've checked with Anbo and they are very expensive (about $3k). I've tried to get on the site for that company I've heard about here from a few folks, but it never works. Now I can't remember the name, but I think it sound kind of Italian.

I also want to be able to use it as a rake. I'm taking many cedars down, so I'll have stick like debris for years to come if I don't get it all up. What do you use, about how much was it and how do I get one?

Oh, and let's see some pictures. I know I am not the only one that loves pictures!

Millonzi! That is what I was looking for. I found the site again and it actually worked today. Of course no prices or time frames can be figured out from it.

Their 48" is around $800 bucks plus shipping and what ever kind of hookup you need. Can't help you with timeframe.

The guy you're looking for is Islandtractor. He has a true grapple and has posted about a million pictures of his uses.
Now, since you asked "what do you use and how much was it and hos do I get one, I'll add what I use. I use an Andy Tatro bucket grapple.

A true grapple is probably more suited for true grapple work, but for the life of me, I can't see anything you can do with a true grapple that I can't do with those bucket grapples. For example, I can grab brush, pluck out trees, move giant logs and rocks just like a true grapple. Plus with the bucket, I can move dirt. I have a toothbar on the bucket and I use it to rake, so all in all, a bucket grapple is pretty handy.

I have two mounted on my bucket to grab oddball shaped objects and they look like this.

For picking up debris where I don't want to get a lot of dirt with the scoop, I use the clam shell technique where I place the bucket over the pile, fully dump position and grapples open, and I grab from the top. It leaves an exceptionally clean area if done correctly.

You can get them from Andy Tatro at this website. Andy Tatro Bucket Grapples
My tractor is shown in a couple photos on his website. I think they are like less than $400 bucks and you install them yourself. He will guide you through it. You will need front hydraulics and a valve of course, just like you would for a true grapple.
Anyway, that's what I use.

Pictures, that's what I'm talking about! Yes, I think Island tractor is who's got the pictures I'mm looking for. I don't think I want a bucket, but I do like that price. I am going to need to use it for a rake too.

Go into the PHOTOS tab at the top of the page and search for Island Tractors photo section, I believe he has about 20 pics there.

Rob, I like your dual grapple setup, how wide is the bucket on your tractor so that you can use the dual setup?

Garth,
Check your PM box. Here are some pics of my anbo.

What, not green? I like the looks of that Anbo and can see it will probably work as a back rake too.

Thanks Jim,
My bucket is a 72" wide one. I posted those pictures because Garth asked "...what do you use?"
And like I said, I use my toothbar for a rake too.
