When dropping a 3PT implement, don't forget to remember to unhook the top link before trying to drive out.

Or the remote hoses connected to a cylinder etc. on the implement...!

Another fun one is when you disconnect everything properly, jump on, and as you take off one of the arms manages to rehook the implement.
Not that I've ever had it happen to me, mind you.

I have often driven away with the pto still attached as it is often easier to get the yoke off the tractor with the implement gone.

I've done that!!!

But I don't trust my own judgement so I'm very careful when driving away from any attachment. Slow and easy, looking for my errors.

Friend of mine bought a new 3/4T diesel truck. Hitched up his GN Cattle Trailer and hauled a load. Dollied down the trailer and pulled away. Had reclosed the tailgate. Totaled the truck bed. Tailgate latches hung on and pulled the sides of the bed in as it V'd......

Darn irritating when they make the tailgates good enough to stay latched on a deal like that.

I fear this one will get me some day. I'm constantly hooking and unhooking our horse trailer to take my kids to various horse events and it seems like I'm always pressed for time and in a scramble. I always follow my golden rule of doing a walk around before I drive off with the trailer in tow. Just seems harder to have the same discipline for just unhooking the trailer. This reminder might help to plant that seed in my brain to give it the same importance.

Due to political correctness and avoid any possible racial issues..."great white sharks" are heretofore to be known as "average caucasian sharks"

We have black snakes, brown snakes but no white snake.
