If your mower has a tail wheel then just lower it until the wheel touches the ground, which will take weight off the rear of your 3pt, thus reducing the leverage that's causing the front end of your tractor to raise. Just make sure that the front edges of the mower aren't going to hit ground.

You can likely pick up a top link at your closest co-op or big box tractor store. Make sure that you'll have the necessary amount of thread travel.

Question: does your mower use a floating top link? (if not then I'd suggest either getting one that does or modifying your existing mower- floating top link makes ALL the difference)
