Maddog,
I've noticed the following hiccups.

1) After logging in to main index then go to any forum. I find I'm no longer logged in. Example - I was logged in then came here and had to log in again to reply.
2) Occasionally on long threads I must click show all a couple times to get it to show all.
3) Attachment Pics - Some load right up, some take a long time to load, others don't load at all and show a blank box with an x in the upper left corner.
If I find more I'll reply back. I'm using Windows XP and Microsoft IE.

George

We will be addressing this and other problems. It's not something that will a permanently be a problem.

Ibrahim,

Thanks for all your hard work. Take your time. No big deal. Things still work quite well.

Personally, having to click an extra time or two doesn't bother me at all...

Wish I could spend as much time here as I used to! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

OK I clicked on this thread, and came straight to where I left off. So that is working now. I noticed that functionality had be hit or miss the past few days.

I've tried this on my win2k box running Firefox and my Redhat box runing firefox.

but this morning, no issues so far.

It works as long as the thread only has ONE page. If you try it on a thread that has multiple pages you will most likely go to the first post of the first page.

I have my display preferences set to 25 posts per page instead of the default of 10, and it makes no difference how many pages there are, it takes me to the first new post. Why the difference???? I have no idea, of course.

Mine's at 25 also. On every computer I have tried, from W98Se to WXP SP2, from box stock Dell to all with the latest updates, the problem still exists. It all has to do with the parameters in the URL that are passed to the web page. The ones from the index seem to be screwed up.

Mine's doing the same thing (3 different computers).
Funny that some are not experiencing this? Are there browser settings that need changing or what? TBN ...any suggestions?
Thanks,

Here's another weird thing. Today I clicked on "new posts last 12 hours" or whatever it's called under the username. I saw something on the Kubota Owning/operating site, which I rarely visit, and clicked on it. Once there, my Next and Previous worked a couple-three times, then only Next a couple times, then neither Next OR Previous. The Next and Previous don't work in any other forum at all.
I still don't have the Show All working at the Index level, but mine goes to the first fresh post in a thread when it's only one page long.
Good luck to you guys sorting this out - I could never do it. And thanks for trying. I'm also curious about browser settings.
Jim

Have you guys tried logging out, tossing you cookies and clearing the history? I'm not having any of the problems. I even went to a thread that was 3 pages long, with one new post and it took me to that one new post.
