I put a claim in back in late Nov 2017 for two affected extinguishers when I saw this thread. Now Jan 31 and still haven't received replacements. Anyone else still not received replacements for what they claimed? I don't see anyway obvious to check the status on a claim on their site.

My replacements for the mid-size ones came after about 2 months but the replacement for the small one just came a couple of weeks ago. It may depend on what size ones you had.

To check status of your claim call 855-271-0773 and give them the reference ID # that is on the bottom of your claim submittal

Your correct... thanks. Just looked at my claim submittal and it's on there. Website does not seem to have a way of checking.

Called the phone noted number above to check the claim. CSR looked up the claim ID number, had all my info and then hinted the processing had gotten messed up. Had to resubmit model and serial numbers, even though they should have been on the original submission. Oddly she stated the model number (1A10BC) I had wasn't on her list even though it was on their Kidde's own recall FAQ. She stated I should receive replacements in a couple weeks.

If anyone is still waiting it may be a good idea to call.

Update...If you call 855-271-0773, they will refer you to 800-880-6788. There is at least a 30 minute wait. But finally someone answered and after my information was given, she said I should receive the last 2 extinguishers in a couple weeks.

Just checked the Kidde web site and the online form seems to have been taken off. We have three of the recalled extinguishers.

Guess I'll try the phone #.

I called Kidde this morning and was on hold for less than 5 minutes and total call time 23 minutes. The nice lady got my info on three extinguishers, all were recalled. She said I’ll receive the replacements in 15-20 business days.
