Most common new tractor in North America?

The most interesting thing will be what happens to the small engine manufacturers that don't have the volume to absorb the engineering, testing, and equipment costs. I'll be the first to call it, in next few years I'd be almost certian the tractor business will have at least 2-3 less competitors.

Oh my! I have to agree with you again, Neil!!!

BTW, has Kub told you guys yet how they will be dealing with the new HP numbers on the small stuff for next year? Nothing is mandatory until 2013 and everyone seems to be going into 2012 with different strategies. Some are using numbers from last year, some are not advertising HP numbers at all...

And we are 'thrilled" over here about the cost increases on the small diesels for IT4, I am sure you are too!

Around by me in Michigan theres these CUT tractors selling like hotcakes. There made by a company called TYM. Never heard of them but theres dealers for them going up everywhere. They are the hot item aroung here. Next would be Kubota. But those TYM's are spreading like a disease!

We had a TYM dealer half a mile from me, but he closed down last fall

Who knew it could happen!

I've not heard much of a plan yet, but nothing I've heard sounds pleasant. Its crazy how much CNH and Deere are struggling with this. You would think with FPT (Fiat) having gone though this with on road that it would have been an easier transition for them. Kubota's not doing anything yet that I'd say is causing concern for us.

Not at all new. Dealers going up and inventory in stock is not an indicator of sales, customers owning things is. Give those places two years, see what their inventory looks like... then you'll know if they are selling.

Like I said earlier, they are selling like hotcakes. I see them at the lumber yard, parades, I work with a guy that owns one and I see them going down the back roads where I live. Theres a cattle farm up the road with one and a Cheese house around the corner that has one. There was a dealer that was selling them with your choice of interest free financing for 10 yrs or a free snowblower. Pretty good deal. All come with a 5 year,3000 hour warranty. Almost has me interested in getting one. If I ever find something that my Long 560 wont do lol.
