I'll go ahead and apologize for this one up front, under the "no useful contribution to the actual thread topic" category :)

This came to mind when I saw the topic heading:

This model will also consume poison ivy, even from rough ground, even over and through stone walls. Don't knock it, the GO-AT is a wonderful mower and general clearer of unwanted vegetation.

Gas powered ? Nahh hahh, Nahh hahh.
Aflac has NOTHING like this.

He He you are so much fun to pick on Doug. :D What you have to remember when you finally do move to NH and are building your, garage/shop/barn, is to size it with this in mind. You need to consider the amount of space you require right now plus how much you need in the future. It is easier to build that to renovate.
All I need to know Ed is that I plan to build a barn that's bigger than your barn and garage put together! :D You've just established my brand new goal! :p

OH MAN!!! Go ahead and hurt my feelings even more why don't ya!!! :(

Have mercy on this poor senile under-employed old man! We can't all have a great, fun job... serious southern acreage... and a nifty new pole barn to store our machines in! ;)

Dougster,
I don't have a garage. I had to build a barn so folks would quit calling me a shade tree mechanic.

Now, I didn't say I lived in a barn - that was a hypothetical. I live in a house out in the country so the neighbors don't have much say. Actually I can only see a couple of houses from mine and I plan to build a new barn (much bigger) between us so that I won't even be able to see them!!

Here's a link for the Grasshoppers. It is a heavy industrial model:

My dad got lucky and bought one off a friend who was old and rich and lost interest in it. Even came with a massive snow blower which is silly given the 3" of snow we get a year. The main difference besides the really thick metal and 70's style operating panel that will survive a hand grenage, is the mowing deck out front. Awesome for visibility and getting under trees.
Spiveyman,
I should have said..............if you have a barn, the neigbhors won't care where you park your tractor. :) I was laughing so hard at Ed and Dougster, I wrote it wrong. They made me do it. :D I have heard farmers always build their sheds too small. That is why my Dad built a work shop and added 4 sheds on it. Same thing with a garage or a barn. It is never built big enough. I haven't even finished my barn and I am thinking about adding on.

Well, that brings up the other half of the equation! :D I need to buy a piece of land bigger than yours to justify my new 7520 4WD!!!

It is a nifty barn too. :) I went all through your series in the Project's forum. But I'm not sure it would work as well up there in cold, snowy New Hampshire.

As long as my barn is bigger than Ed's barn and garage combined, I don't care so much about the design details. :D

Dougster,
Now you know what I do for a living. You know what sort of resources I have available.
You know what a couple of thirty packs can get you in the construction industry.

I was saving this for a month long project spread, but now you've gone and made me do it.

I give ya a look at what you have to build bigger than. :D Like I said build for what you think you might need down the road, not what you need today. :)

Buy the way I think I will be able to fit SEVERAL tractors in this.

Yep! Well, it looks like the gauntlet has been thrown. It'll be fun to see if Dougster can match that. I think I better just sit tight, that's a HUGE barn!
