IT looks good and solid. Can’t wait to see the finished pics. I think it may be too much for the 4 wheeler, but would like to hear your after actions report. Good luck.

Yep, I rotate or flip my blades very often in the Summer when roads are hard. If you put the blade into the bank position and set it with the front edge up along the right side of the machine you can rotate them standing up with the bolts about waist high. Makes it much easier. My moldboard is 14ft with two 7ft blades. I use 8"x15/16". They are very heavy. Our current machine (JD770G) ran 550 hrs before I had to replace the cutters.

Can't really guess what the soil is like that you're pulling in. With regards to drag edge wear, my prediction that you will start thinking about all the ATV's U-joints, tires and stuff before the drag edge shows any wear. I do hard pulls with my ATV sometimes (logs dragging on dirt, or piles on the dolly) and I'm typically surprised how hard it will pull, but I often think when it's a hard pull, "I'm alright with this for a few minutes a couple times a month". I do have a tractor, but I'm much more confident on hillsides etc with the ATV, and it travels to the site , or back to other logs so much faster.
I'm all for using the eqpt to do what you need to do, what good are preserved u-joints when you'd rather drag some stuff!

I think the guy saying his wear bars warp was referring to a DOT truck plowing snow... that would produce more heat then a slow moving grader right?
Driveway's Class A gravel... but has some serge (6" stone) starting to come up in spots, so I'll have to dig them out... or add more gravel before grading.
I do have tracks coming for the wheeler that will add weight and gearing... so that's an option too.

No worries. I can blade past a mailbox at 7mph and miss it by an inch. Since 1989 I've hit one. New box, the lady had just painted a country scene on the side. I think that distracted me!!!! She apologized for it being in my way... I offered to buy her a new one but she wouldn't have nothing to do with it. She still teases me about it today and that was 15 years ago.

You need to come here and give our plow driver a lesson or two!! We've lived here 3 years - the first two winters the mailbox was pretty much unscathed. This year ours got taken totally out once and "mostly out" 2 more times. Next door neighbor's got hit 3 times as well. Mailboxes up and down the road were begging for mercy!! I bought a new mailbox a couple of weeks ago, but haven't put it up yet. When I do, I'm moving it further back a foot or two from the road.

So, meant to get the four pieces welded together... and cleaned everywhere I was going to weld... then decided to cap the back ends of the channel iron. LOL Got this far, then it was time to get the girl from daycare
I also weighed what I've got so far in an attempt to know how much this will weigh once done.
Channel iron; 43Lbs x 2= 86lbs
Pipe; 40lbs x 2=80lbs
Angle iron/ blade/ bolts; 47lbs
Caster & Jack; 19lbs x 2=38lbs
251lbs so far!
Still have sand, tongue, bracing, chair, expanded steel... should reach 300lbs.

Oh, I know it may not cut it. She's a Sportsman 570. 700lbs, AWD... I also have tracks coming for it that will add another 300lbs and reduce it's gearing by 40%. Plan B is my offroad only Tracker; 2500lbs ish, but open front and rear, and geared terribly. Next year we'll be getting a small SUV... Rav 4 or CRV... something like that... that could also be a possibility. Absolute worst case; I borrow a buddy's 1/2T Chevy.... although it won't make the trail that I someday hope to use this on.
I've got plans in the works for a back yard tractor/ buggy that will surely be heavy enough with gears to spare.
