Mounting a 8.5' snow plow on a SSQA plate

I've used mine a couple times now and I have yet to ground out the mount, but I can see where rear shoes would be handy.
Would be nice to have a stop and not have to look each time to see where the frame is in relation to the ground.
I'll probably have a set added before next winter.
