Mounting a wiper motor on Curtis cab

Hey everyone,

A friend of mine has a BX with the Curtis cab.

He just ordered the windshield wiper but it came with no instructions nor hardware on how to mount the motor.

Does anyone have an idea as to the proper way to mount it? What hardware and gasgets are needed.

We were hoping to get it done soon and not have to wait for Curtis to get instructions and (hopefully) hardware.

What was ordered? Just the motor or a wiper kit? What was received? Just the motor or the motor, arm and blade? Does the motor have mounting bolts or just a threaded collar around the stem? I mounted a wiper on the cab of a previous tractor and as I recall, the only mounting mechanism was a threaded collar around the stem, with two nuts so that you could adjust the position of the wiper motor relative to the shell of the cab. I built my own cab and installed a Curtis wiper motor in it. That was over a year ago and I don't remember what hardware was included or if there were instructions. Anyway, I just looked at it and the attached sketch shows what I installed. I hope this helps.

Actually, I just got word that the hardware was found in a small bag that was buried in the packing material. I guess that'll make installation a lot easier using OEM parts as opposed to a trip to the HW store.
