Today, I received the toothbar which I ordered for my FEL bucket. Yes, I have my 3/4" bi-metal holesaw ready. But I'd like to get some opinions on mounting bolt hole location. The side tabs on my toothbar have a forward bolt hole towards the bucket edge and one that is to the rear of that and is about at the center of the bucket. The bar only came with 2 bolts, so I assume just 1 bolt per side. Which hole configuration would make for the strongest mounting location? The teeth are slotted to fit over the bucket cutting edge, so I assume that is really where the force is applied and the mounting bolts really aren't subject to much stress. Any ideas?

I used the rear holes when I mounted mine. I have taken out a 10' stump and it is just as tight as when I installed it.

use the rear holes . u are right the bolts just hold the bar on the bucket. no real stress exerted on them.
