Well the house is out together, I got a tree cut into lengths, we ran the water line, and we had to buy more permits. All in all it was a good day.
We did the same thing last year. We sold the old place in January and lived in a camper while the new place was built, moved in over labor day weekend. We had to build the barn, clear the area for the goats and chickens, dig a well, get power run, put in a 750' long driveway, rented 2 40' storage containers to store all the things from the house and move everything by last December. Quite a bit of work. All while doing a 50 hr 'normal' job and working on everything in the off time. Planted an acre of fruit trees, have a acre garden that grew some great weeds. Hopefully next season we will be able to spend more time working the land. I'd do it again.
Is PEX standard for underground water where you are. Asked about it for a line I was replacing and coiled copper is still required here.
Always good to know what's available. Is PEX underground susceptible to rodent damage from gnawing?
