One thing to keep in mind, there's typically a generous margin of safety on these weight ratings to account for dynamic loading. Similar to how the rear implement weight/carrying capacity of a 3PH is typically downgraded to about 1/3 of what it will actually lift (i.e., its static lift capacity).Check your manual first. My L3700 manual lists an implement limit of 730 lbs for the drawbar load and 2200 lbs for the trailer loading weight. I cannot imagine your BX being able to handle a 6500 lb trailer.
Moving slowly, on level ground, is not much of a dynamic load, so you can usually get away with exceeding the "limit" somewhat. Stop when the front wheels come off the ground.
