Tim, I get on some of the Windows 2000 server boards and post questions about what some on the board would consider newbie questions. On most of those boards, the members post there to show everyone how smart they are, and if you don't display what they perceive as the pre-requisite amount of knowledge you are flamed or ignored. And if you do get answer, sometimes too much knowledge is assumed.
The good thing about this board is there aren't any stupid questions, and there is no pre-requisite of knowledge required, either about tractor, or about this board itself. So if a post sounds condescending to you, its probably just an honest attempt at providing useful information.
I don't care if a poster tells me something I already know. To assume I already know, might cause me to miss some valuable information.
