I remember you saying this previously, great metaphor/thought-process. I have no idea where it jumped off from - once it jumps, it's a tangled mess on the deck. And I understand about the deck being lowered. I like to mow at position 3, actually 2 if I could, but, the deck really drags when it's that low. Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the belt jumps a lot more often.It seems as though it may be aggravated by the fact the deck in lowered. Where did it jump from? Remember as you scratch your head where the belt came off, think of the belt being pushed around the pulley system rather than being drawn around.
