mower deck removal

am new to riders,need to know the best way to remove mower deck,any step by step instruction would be greatly appreciated.is on a 2004 lx 280

Are you sure you need to remover the mower deck..you can sharpen and replace the blades and do most things by simply jacking the front end of the tractor up....just place some chocks under the back wheels and put it in gear with the breaks on...I always try to avoid taking mower decks off of lawn tractors unless absolutely necessary because it just such a pain. ..
