Thanks for the additional feedback everyone.

I have narrowed my choices considerably based on dealer location, financing and budget. Although I think I would have enjoyed a front mount Grass Hopper, I cannot find a conveniently located dealer and front mounts are falling outside by self imposed budget parameters. Looks at this point like JD's 757 Z-Trak or Kubota ZD 21. I am not sure my application warrants the extra money on a diesel but Kubota does not make a gas version with 60" deck.

Based on everyone’s comments, it looks ZTR is the right choice for my application and there seem to be no shortages of manufactures of quality machines. I will let you all know what I decide in the end. Your help and comments continue to be appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ive cut a lot of acres back in the day at my parents house, but at that property i always wanted a front mower, i would still rather use that than a ztr.. say a JD 1445 72" front mower diesel model
