I do 2800 rpms since unless you are higher, seems a waste of fuel..
I don't have a tach on my BX23, so I mow at WOT...Works great and really doesn't use much fuel at all.
I wouldn't use the MMM on a field....
Good idea. Same pistions used tho, so unless you do a tremendous proportion of backing, just exercising in forward oughta do it. ... Not sure how much issue the different side thrust is.Sometimes, in conditions where rabbit speed would be appropriate, I opt for turtle, with WOT, and foot pedal to the floor. I do this because it is not that often I get to put the pedal to the floor, so I wonder about the piston bores in the axial piston pump. Edit...I forget to do this in reverse, so I ought to remember now, since I wrote it, and said it out loud too.
