OK now I'm depressed, it takes me 5 minutes!

Off 100% of the time. The ride's much better without it, especially since I tend to mow in high range and often at a good clip (pun intended!). There's a couple of spots where the weight on the front would help a bit, but no big deal. 4wd or the diff lock helps there.

I switched after getting comfortable removing the loader. Piece of cake (NOW ...), which I do in the garage.

Just to clarify: 2 minutes to take off and another 2 minutes to reinstall.... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I used to leave mine on once in a while, but never do anymore. The loader is easy to take off & we have alot of trees.... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Mowing?? Off 100% of the time. I have too many "things" to run into while mowing. It usually takes me 5 mins both ways, removal and re-install. I have dropped it in the grass, never again /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thats interesting. Whats it like to deal w/ if the tractor and loader arent in the same plane? My dealer made it sound like a virtual impossibility to mate the two unless everything was perfect.

I have only removed my loader on the cement garage floor and the asphalt driveway, and maybe I am just a klutz, but I have a hard enough time lining everything up on flat smooth that there is no way I would even try to remove the loader on the lawn.

On, always on. I want to take it off, but no solid area to park it. Not enough room in the tractor shed. I'll do it anyway one day just to see how it mows. I bet the front gets a little light with that 700 pound cutter on the back. I heard rumors there's a grease fitting under there somewhere that you can only get to when the loader is off. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
