Tractor
2003 BX23 Kubota
Morning folks,
We have 11 acres here in the forests of Venango County, in northwest Pennsylvania. I let my wife tell everyone that buying our Kubota was her idea, and perhaps it was, but without it's use over the past 8 years or so, I would have moved into town.
I have accumulated a lot of hours of hard work and the only things that have broken were caused by me, knock on wood. The tough part of starting from scratch building without contractors and living on site in the woods at the same time is you have to build a cabin first and a shop/garage to maintain your tractor as well as you would like comes last. Because of the tough nature and high quality of this machine it has survived to be pampered more.
If I had done this with any of my neighbors tractors or worse, horses, they all would have had to been put down. In fact, one of the machines I tried prior to investing into the BX23 was a brand new Sears biggest garden tractor. In the first month it caught on fire while I was riding it and just as I got clear of it, the gas tank blew and she basically melted down by the time the fire DEPT came.
Anyhow, that's me. thanks
