Thanks guys. I'll start a new thread on the MT357 with some good photos. Already looking at a rear blade and tooth bar and I don't even have it yet. It's like farkling a motorcycle. It never ends.

New thread starting soon but I got to drive it 4 miles up to our place. Had a lot of fun playing with all the switches and features. AC is wonderful. And I can confirm that it does indeed have the smart throttle. It's called "linked pedal".

When linked pedal is turned on the tractor automatically throttles up the more you push on the HST pedals. When turned off it works just like the XR models.

Very nice. Congrats on the new worker.
That was 2 reasons I bought my XR 6 years ago. A/C for summer and heat for winter.

Makes sense. Do you find that useful? My tractor is gear/shuttle shift. I have a throttle pedal.

Yes I think it is a wonderful feature. You can still use the dash throttle and set an RPM minimum floor. For example set it to 1,500 RPMs and the tractor will only throttle up above that when it needs to. I think some other manufacturers have it. I can see it saving a significant amount of fuel.

I don't have anything to compare it to though as my Branson was a shuttle. Only thing I don't like is that it turns off when you hit the brake. Must be a fail safe in case the throttle sticks.

Please measure the outside width of the rear tire stance. I had thought that the published width were the ends of the axle putting the actual width about a foot wider with R1 Ag tires, but maybe not? :confused3:
