And some of us envy your super machine, have you done any jobs with it yet to get the feel of it?

Yes, I have done some mulching and some bucket work. I absolutely love it, and the mulcher has ALWAYS satisfied and impressed my customers. It still impreeses me!

So the guy is too blind for the DOT to let him drive yet he puts a hugely expensive machine on a trailer and pulls it (commercially?) with a truck?

Yep, that's about it! Another guy I know had to give up his truck when he went on Insulin, and he bought a one ton diesel and a backhoe and started doing some digging for a living. The requirements for having a CDL are most of the time a lot stricter than a regular license.

Well it's not NC, but it looks like I'll be heading up to Birmingham this weekend if anyone needs work done in that area.

I hope you take some pictures and make enough money to make the next couple of payments on the mulcher.

I would highly emphasize the "environmentally friendly" way your equipment clears land vs the traditional method. Many folks are very conscious of the environment and if u have a better mousetrap for clearing land then that may give u an edge. It may also help folks pay a little more for your services vs the traditional method.

Also, there are tons of developments going in here in the Panhandle of FL and u may want to advertise your services down here (depending on where u live in AL). There are also, many landowners around here that could use your service. I am clearing fenceline on my property by hand (don't have my tractor yet--Mahindra w/FEL and BH) and it is definitely hard work. I have some property that is full of trees and would like to know how much u would charge to do the work--problem for me is cost, just like everyone else.
