I see a nice sheet metal spot-welder with plenty of throat there.

Aha. You spotted Linda Miller-Lovelace! *

*I like to give my welders names.

Since I never get rid of multiples, in order to keep my tool boxes clutter free and organized I place extra wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, etc, in clear totes and store them away until needed.

Now, I am envious. I have never been able to afford a decent vise and you have a fine crop.

Everybody has their favorite brand. I like Wilton.

Mine too but I've had to settle. So sad. At this stage in life, I would be wasting money by buying the best.

Not sure if they've been mentioned but two of the most used tools around here are an extended hand grabber and magnets on sticks...sure saves a lot of bending over whenever I drop something (which is all the time)...also prevents overextending the shoulders when reaching for something...

No used good old fashioned Made in USA Wiltons around in Canada. All newer import stuff.

Still lots of good used Made in England Records though. All the new ones are import garbage since Irwin took over

No more overextending and back bending for THIS old guy. I deliberately keep my back straight, engage my core and SQUAT down to pick up stuff.

Gotta work those legs and glutes to minimize hip injuries.

Yep, I do 50 squats every morning for just that reason.
But I only do 10 crunches. I need to up number that some.

Most important thing in my shop is a full compliment of curse words. I’m not talking the cliff notes version here, I’m talking the three inch thick volume with words you didn’t even know existed!

Let's see if I can bait Big Barn into this part..... Don't tell him.....

Hey Terry (Big Barn), give me a "ballpark" guess as to how many dollars in tools/machines you have in your shop???

Problem is there aren稚 any decent vices out there. There all cast garbage from China. I spent 2 weeks researching it. No USA made units anymore. No forged vices, only cast.

Thankfully, I no longer need a Great vise. Any heavy duty work I will just take to a machine shop. At almost 70, it is time to be a little less self sufficient. I have done everything myself up until now and it's time to take life a little easier.

It would take me a month to inventory my little shop and I bet I would be shocked to know what it all adds up to! I suppose I should for insurance/theft reasons.

One can get lost in Big Barn's shop(s)!

Way to go . Crunches are too hard on my back. I prefer various other core exercises.

When you see discontinued MADE IN USA tools you have to GRAB them.

Here’s a few of the brand new 160 pound Reed vises I got a little carried away with buying.
