I'm gonna make some phonecalls in the morning and see if i can get it checked out. Best I can find the pump should be putting out around 2700 PSI.

You could "TEE" in a pressure gauge and check your pressure on lift that is too heavy for it to lift.

There is a lot of flex in the FEL because of the numerous pivots. Without ballast, the FEL flexes and the load will not come up.

If you mount a counter-balance I believe you will be able to lift what you desire.

I recommend installing a 3000 hyd gage in a tee in the IN port of the FEL valve and use it to set the relief valves, troubleshoot, and monitor the hyd system.

Check your relief setting against your manual.

Does your relief valve come on now?

You can hear it stall the pump I guess that is it relieving

The loader on my L4400 will lift the rear tires with ease (when there is no ballast on rear), before the pressure release kicks in. I've only had this happen when doing things like trying to pry a stump out.

i've never had any problem picking up normal loads (dirt/gravel) it's when i'm trying to push trees up and get there stumps my tires never get off the ground with no ballist.

It may be relieving, but at what pressure.

If the FEL relief pressure is correct, then it should pick up the advertised load.

The cylinders will develop the force based on the load and the pressure available.

The load advertised is at the bucket pins. The further out the load is, the less you can pick up.

You may pick the rear end up, but it is based on the balance point of the load to the weight of the tractor.

If you add ballast to the rear, you increase your pick up potential without tipping.

Get a gauge setup, and test your pressure-that way you'll know what's going on. Tee'ing in a gauge is not needed, you can simply plug one into a loader port to test the pressure:

Here is the simple one we sell, although I'm not sure we have the proper QD to fit your machine in stock. You may be able to source parts locally to make your own as well.

Here is video I made on testing the pressure on a JD, but the theory is the same for your machine:

On my mx5100 with loaded tires it is EASY to lift the rear wheels when using the loader if there is counter balance - something is wrong
