The fuel gauges are a suggestion at best. When my L3400 (9 gallon tank) says empty, just over 5 gallons will fill it. Huge reserve.

I've noticed the three point not lifting as high as i think it did. I'm measuring approximately 27" off the ground at the lower link pins. Can any other MX5100 owners comment on this?

It's not even lifting the rotary mower's rear tire off the ground.

Yeah, watch that top link. I use to be able to set it and forget it while mowing without using the friction nut, but have found that it is broken in enough now that it will slowly lengthen on it's own. I now use the friction nut to make sure it stays put.

Well, I had a little ticker work done last week. The MX5100 must have been too much excitement. Chest pains, now I have a stent installed and getting around a little.
Yesterday I did notice the jam nut on the top link had backed off. The link seemed long so, I'm sure it was lengthening in operation.

I also found several cedar sticks in one front tire. Looks like I may have to have the fronts foam filled. Looking for a place near Dallas that does this.

Neverthe less I like my kubota and as far as reliability its been great.
I agree completely, no complaints from my Kubota, it does what I intended for it to do - and does so reliably. If I need brute strength, hop on the Allis D17 or MF1150.
