I was getting ready to take my rear blade off today and grabbed the adjustment arm on the 3 PT and it was slippery, so I looked under the tractor and saw everything was wet on the right side of the tractor from under the seat down and the inner wall of the rear tire. I then check the site glass and it was only about 1/8 full. I ran the tractor and saw nothing, then I ran the bucket up the whole way against the limit and it started spraying straight out the back from under the seat. It looks like a metal hydraulic line with a bend in it that is leaking. Now that I found it I guess I need to call the dealer and have them come pick it up to fix it.... I am right at 33-34 hours on the machine......:( Oh yeah and I didn't even get to cut the grass....

Do youy know what happened? Did it break, something pinch it,or did it just plain come apart?

Yeah not sure about the easy fix?? It looks like they will have to remove the seat and all the brackets for the seat to get to this line..

Sorry to hear about the leak. Should be a pretty easy fix though, I have taken the steel lines of my Yanmar before and it wasnt to much of a hassle.

I hear you tom, what I meant was at least your not having transmission or engine troubles and everything should be under warranty.

I'm not sure it just looks like it cracked, I just can't see in there good enough. Unless something came loose but the way it sprayed me in the face it seemed like a crack...

Yeah that is the good part!!! Hopefully you can't mess anything else up by running it low:confused: I just wish it was closer to the 50 hour mark so I could have just had them change all the fluids...

Now that I think about it, maybe it has been sucking air?? I did notice that I had to keep bumping my hydraulics up on the FEL cause it would slowly go down when I was running it?? Is that normal for everyone else??

Yes, it sounds normal. When the hydraulics go back to the reservoir the fluid is not pressurized. The transmission is the outlet for the fluid after it has circulated through the FEL and is then sent through the hydraulic pump and back through the FEL. It is likely that the "fading" hydraulics would have caused this.
