I am new to the discussion. I have a bx1800 that I also bought from Carver. They are real good. I dealt with Al M. Let me know if you have any questions. I have had mine since 4/02. It is a great machine.
Good luck ( though you won't need luck with a kubota).

Nice looking rig. I can see why your so proud. Take good care of it. I just made a statement to another new owner and it was about the little guy. He has that look in him, like I want to be like daddy. Watch out for him, know where he is all the time. You never know when he will run up on you. Someone told me to make a rule with him, you have to have both hands in the air before he can come up by the tractor. You can come up with something else for a rule but whatever it is make sure you practice it.

Yeah I dealt with Al and Steve both. I am very pleased with my experience overall. Although I did have to wait about a week for a truck to pick it up and deliver it /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif But that really wasn't a big deal as I didn't have any "emergency" needs for it so it was mostly just the anticipation factor.

Murph,

I hear what your saying about my youngest. He has grown up on the "tractor" so far. He has been riding with me on my Cub 1811 for the past few years. I am careful, but you can never be too careful, especially since now he is older and can let himself outside easier if he chooses. In the past, my wife would need to let him out if I was out without him. Now he just shows up. I like the idea of a clear signal, I think I will use that with him.

Ever since my bx1800 through a tennis ball size rock 50 feet into my Trooper, my daughter (3.5 years old) is in the house when I cut the grass. These are not weak machines. She was in the house then, too. Now I make triple sure.Safety first!
