My B2320 was in a steel chage with no wheels, seat or steering wheel on Friday. I stopped by today to see if it was in the shop on jack stands getting its final assembly. To late. It had just been pulled out on the lot completed.
Jamie was moving all of the tractors in its row to get a truck in the storage bldg so I told him I'd move mine. So, I'm now an experienced B2320 gear drive tractor driver.
Interesting for a HST only driver for seven years and several different models. I had some concern when I tried to stop it, HST stop when you let off and I never use the brakes on the HST's but having to start using the brake pedal now seems strange.:) I think I'll like it for what I bought it for. Actually it seemed fun. It has the bunch of gears, tried M 3 and it almost jumped out from under me. Went to L 3 and did smoother. It has the hand throttle plus an additional foot throttle similiar to my past L3240HST Grand.
A storm was coming so I told Steve I didn't want any hail damage to it (big storm came thru a couple of weeks ago and did extensive hail damage to vehicles). He put it in the storage bldg. And he put someones BX25 in the bldg also that he said he just sold.
Signed the papers and will get it delivered Wednesday, next day I'll be back out to the rental property.
Also asked for only two hats for the two 6 year old Grands who are at my house all day instead of for part of the day due to Spring break.
More good news, Thank the Lord!!! I rec'd notice from my bank that my interest rate on my commercial loan had been reduced by almost $150 a month effective in May 2011. My pmnt on the B2320 is $156 or $158 with the Ky 6% sales tax.

Looking good JT!!! Congrats!!!

John I started to go back and pull a quote from one of your previous tractor buying threads. It went something like this, this was the last tractor I will ever buy or something like that. But I understand the issue.
It has a name: JT's syndrome. Yes John its named after you. It is contagious and can be spread via the web and most notably through TBN. It is commonly thought that this a biologically engineered disease. The free sodas or cups of coffee that you are drinking as you peruse the tractor lot may not be as free as you think. Rumor has it that Brady has a degree in Biochemistry. :D
Congratulations on the new Kubota. You are the tractor owner that I can only aspire to be.

Thanks to all for the congrats and good wishes.:)
Now Dex, I might can take some abuse from some people but not from a man that already has two tractors himself.:) I've been around and you've been around long enough that I know you have at least two tractors and I think you've been lusting for a third tractor yourself in the B size.:D
Now one can't/shouldn't be held accountable for rash statements made in the long ago past especially concerning no more new tractors. That was just foolish talk from an ill informed point of view.
I'm pondering saying this is it but I know how some people have these minds of steel that never forget a off hand comment one makes in a time of ignorance.
Thanks for the congrats.
Had to go over the explanation/justification again or maybe for the first time with my wife this evening when she walked by me on the computer when I showed her the picture of the three tractors with the B2320 in the center and asked her which of the three she thought was best looking. She of course picked the Kubota:D and then asked is that the one I bought and why again? I of course had a very good weak explanation of the differences between them and why I needed another one. She didn't have much to say and we just moved on to watching the weather on TV.;)

That thing looks like a little giant with those R-1's. I like it. Since you don't live far from Barlows I would drove her home, SMV Placard and all.

Thanks for the congrats.

I guess some statements could have a jealousy motivation. Again congratulations to the latest addition to the Kubota herd. The only non dealership Kubota herd that I know of. :D

Congratulations on your new tractor.

As to getting use to a geared unit, you will find yourself using the brakes less and less. I spent the day Sunday pushing trees over and such with our M8540 and only used the brakes two or three times. You will learn to anticipate, chop the throttle etc. Brake use will also become so automatic to be almost unnoticeable.
