While you are checking bolts check the bolts that hold on the loader frame. Check them again after some loader use. Also radiator hose clamps after some use that seams to let the hose ends shrink and settle in around the fittings. Be safe and have fun.

Do you know the torque spec on the wheel lugs? Great info. Will give the bolts a once over.

It's in the tractor manual, located ina folding waterproof pouch beneath the seat. Maker sure they give you the belly mower manual also if you have a belly mower. The 2360 is great...

Congratulations on the tractor.I have a BX2360,it is a nice little tractor. One thing to be aware of is the cooling fan for the transmission. There are many threads on here about people ruining the fan by running over brush and branches. The fan is cheap to buy but quite time consuming to replace. The tractor comes with a guard for the fan but it only offers some protection. Some people have shredded the fan even with the mower deck on.If you are going to be using the tractor in rough areas, you may want to get better protection for the fan.Enjoy your new machine.

Will do on the manual and clamps. Thanks for that info.

Also will watch running over branches and stuff. Does the under armor from BXpanded protect the cooling fan for the transmission?

Get a decent grease gun and familiarize yourself with the nuances of the fine art of dealing with zerks.

Congratulations:thumbsup: I had to smile when I saw where you plan on staying out of the ditches.:D Tell me that after you've had it for awhile. Allof us planned on being careful, protective and act safely when or the day before we got our first tractor. After that machine arrives and you sit on it and start discovering that you've got a workhorse with a FEL under you then where are the challenges???? The DITCH!!! That's where. 4wd, FEL and locking differential just in case!!!! OK, creep into the edge of it. AWW this thing will go further and not get stuck, FEL will back you back out and that's what it's made for. Challenges. Could have got a box store mower for just mowing flat land!!!! Get in that ditch!!!!! Just ease in and go up and down as much as possible and crossways if it's not to steep, besides you've got a ROPS and seatbelt if it turns over or sort of lays over on it's side.
I started almost 10 years ago with my first Orange, a BX2200 FEL MMM and Barlows has been back 14 more times making deliverys and picking up trade ins. Welcome to Orange World!!!:drink:

The BXPanded skid plate is for protecting the under side (including the fan), but be aware that it's mutually exclusive with the MMM. If you remove the MMM you can pop the BXpanded Under Armor on, remove it to re-install the MMM. I understand it goes on and off very easy.

Another option is the skid plates from Bro-Tek. They are multiple pieces. The rear one protects the back section of the under belly (including the fan) and can be left on with the MMM in place. The next one installs to protect going on forward, but again would need to be removed to install the MMM. It is not as quick on-off like the Under Armor.

My particular situation is that I rarely have the MMM off, so I installed the rear Bro-Tek. The MMM protects most of the underside pretty well, but I wanted the extra protection behind the MMM for the fan in case something worked up behind the mower deck - maybe from going back and forth or something.

A couple of options for you to consider...

I think you are correct. Took delivery of her about an hour ago!!! Perfect timing since we have about 20" of snow at my place. Here are 2 shots of the little lady in the garage and a pic of her future home! Please excuse the mess. We just moved in and are having the house painted so the painter's stuff is in the garage as well.

Zerks, wow. I don't like those little things. Before cutting the corn I would grease the entire cutter. What a PITA! Those littel things can drive a man crazy.

GolfAddict, I will check out the bro-tek plates. Sounds like a good idea to get those with the MMM. Thanks for the tid-bit of info!

JohnThomas, I think you are predicting my future. :D
