They delivered my first "real tractor" yesterday. And by real I mean with a 3-point hitch and rear PTO.

Now, I'm eyeing up a few add ons. Like work lights, cutting bar for loader bucket, ROPs tool box, 3 point receiver, etc. Of course those will all come in time when needed.

But, I will be buying my first accessory this week.... A diesel fuel can!

Congrats!!

Don't forget an aftermarket skid-plate if you will be working in the woods at all. I have the BXpanded one myself, and have been very happy.

Welcome to the club! It will surprise you. Piranha Tooth Bar for the bucket should be on your list. I just got the little Kubota ROPS tool box for xmas. Lot smaller than it looks but great for a few pins, wrenches, little flashlight, cell phone, etc.

Be careful about those accessories, they sometimes turn into a bigger tractor. Ask me how I know.

I'm itching to use it! Unfortunately today (Saturday) is packed full of honey do-- not tractor related. I underestimated how big the 60" deck is (forgot about the plastic chute.). I'm hoping to rearrange some things in the garage tomorrow so I can pull the deck out. Then, if I have time before band practice (I play bagpipes in a VFD band) I'm going to try and clear out a brush pile that I've thrown downed limbs in for the last 5 years saying, "I'll clean that pile out soon."

There have been many discussions about the inadequacy of new fuel cans. I ordered one of these a couple of months ago and couldn't be happier with it! Good luck!

If your fuel will sit for extended periods (a B25 doesn't use a lot) you might want to get a Mr. Funnel, they work well for water removal and just cleaning dirty fuel in general. I have used $10 Sear's toolboxes for two tractors, and they seem to hold up great. Rust and waterproof, perfect size for some tractors, too.

Make sure you check your front axle oil. IT WILL BE LOW! They don't seem to top the axle off before delivery. My BX was very low as were many others. It comes with SUDT fluid so that is what you need to top it off. Let me know how you make out.

Good advice! I just checked all the fluids. Front axle, transmission, and engine oil are all fine. But the coolant is about 1/8-1/4 inch below the L line. According to the owners manual, just need to add a little distilled water.

Don't forget a grease gun, unless you already have one

I have one, but it needs replaced.

Yep, if not already familiar, welcome to the world of grease!
