My dogs killed neighbors chicken

Ok seriously, this is 2014 and apparently no one here has recognized that once the chicken crossed the "border" he should have been given amnesty, free healthcare and a hot meal.
Well the OP did have the option of the bird being a hot meal; chicken noodle soup is supposed to be good for your health when you're sick; and-well ... I guess I'll need a little help figuring an angle on that first one.

I'm predicting the new neighbors will blow some holes in a couple of dogs after running them down on the run for 1) biting the woman, 2) killing a chicken. Motorized families usually are not fearful families, and are good at holding and taking care of their own. -By building a visible fence, op will concede his responsibility and show he has taken care of the problem. Doing less gives his new neighbors the choice to take care of the problem how they see fit.

If the lady presses charges for the dog biting her, the dog should press charges for molestation. If the chicken presses charges for being killed, the dog should press charges for the chicken trespassing.

imho.. the dog killing the free range chicken on it's own property is a non issue.
the OP taking the mauled chicken back over to the neighbors property and leaving it brings up 2 issues.
1, it makes it seem like the dog may have been on the neighbors property and killed it.
2, if you guys are saying the neighbor tresspassed when walking up and saying hi.. then the op tresspassed taking the chicken back over.
can't have your cake and eat it too.
so, if you nullify the tresspass issue.
we still have an agressive dog that bites that needs to be contained. and we have a person bitten.
if i was on a jury.. that is what I would see....
