my F455D is a KUKJE !!!

OK GUYS,, we are getting closer!! friend of mine just came over to look at the tractor and showed me it says KUKJE right on the speeddometer.. Now with a yanmar engin and KUKJE tractor NOW WHAT?? any ideas for a manual?? or who would be able to service it now that we know its a KUKJE tractor?? I still have no luck adjusting the PTO speed.

Didn't you also mention in another thread that the PTO would stop under load? Or am I thinking of something else...

I just brought that up because it might help figure out what is going on with the PTO.

You will probably have to service it yourself unless you have a generic tractor shop in the area. Brand name/franchise tractor shops generally won't touch a gray market tractor. Did you ever determine if the pto out of the tractor and the driveshaft are getting power, and if you have a slip clutch, is it slipping? You will need to do some troubleshooting on your own and probably get pretty creative in finding filters, parts, manuals, etc.

The F455d is not a Yanmar . It is a Kukje . I dealt with this a couple years ago. Some of the Kukje s do have a Yanmar engine. Some people are trying to insinuate that they are built by Yanmar. Yanmar just supplies the engines. Some one is importing them & labelling them as Yanmars. I consider this as fraudulant. I tracked down one person that imported them. He did one load & quit. He was given a parts source in Korea , which ended up being a Yanmar dealer. They couldn't supply him with anything. I tried some Korean leads for information, but didn't get any response.

Did Yanmar authorize these tractors to be produced as Yanmars for some market (i.e. to break into the Korean market) or is this out and out fraud/trademark infringement? Does anyone know what the original branding was (did it start off as a Kukje then get relabelled into a Yanmar)? If Yanmar didn't make it, or license the use of their name, I will bet that it is illegal.

Where did this tractor come from--who sold it? My guess is that without a good parts support you have an orphan of the highest order. I guess that even if Yanmar did license it, the Japanese yanmars dealers can't get parts--you's need to go to a Korean Yanmar dealer if such exists.

You are, IMHO, absolutely correct. I said that yesterday in this man's original thread. Take it back. Post the seller's information for Yanmar to read. This is no different than the selling of fake designer accessories, etc. It is fraud....not a disagreement over intellectual property rights, but outright fraud.

i guess thats what you get when you dont know what your buying,, I was told it was a yanmar cause it had a yanmar engin in it.. so i guess i learned a valuable lesson on this one !!
