Open heart surgery tomorrow at 5:30am, then a week in recovery in the hospital. A 5 hour procedure. Always fun. Roof all but finished. Most electrical run.

If you have not poured the concrete yet (no pic of it) could you put PEX in the floor for hot water heating or some other heating elements?

And are you putting insulation under the concrete?

It’s not as easy as laying tubes and pouring concrete special barrier pex needs to be used and the will need to be a number of pumps and mixing valves and a heat exchanger. The home improvement shows never show all that goes into in floor heating. It would be 10 grand to just do that bathroom the correct way

Open heart surgery, showed up at 5:30, prepped and in by 6am. They closed him up at 5pm. That is beyond believe to me, but they said they were successful. He's in recovery waiting for an ICU bed.

Progress has been made on the bathroom mean while. Got most of the wiring done, got the roof finished up but ran out of rolled shingle. Need to cut into the stucco to get the flashing in, but it should be mostly waterproof. Got the walls up, "structural insulation". My roofing nailer only takes 1.5" nails apparently because I couldn't get the coils of 1.75" in right and it wouldn't feed.

That’s a long day, I thought some of my 3 hr surgeries were bad. Course I was out and didn’t really notice.
