My new L-3400HST (8 Hours) just got a new BH-75 hoe installed yesterday( $6800. with 2 buckets) and today I did my first backhoe job. My first 6 hours I was able to do over 200 feet of 40" deep trench with the 16" bucket. Talk about smooth. I found that about 1500 rpm was not jerky at all and real easy to operate. Bring on the work.. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Have fun.

I have the same backhoe but didn't get the chance to try it yet. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It is amazing how smooth these backhoes are. I've had my 75 for a couple of months and was digging quite well in no time at all. Glad to hear your first outing is going well too. I don't know what to think of the bent rods going on with these units lately though. I hope Kubota is able to resovle the problem with Volnavy's hoe.

Good diggin' !

I've been operating the BT1000 BH with an 18" bucket on our L39 at about 1,400-1,500rpm with excellent results when I am not in a hurry or need super power for something. It does an excellent job at this level and is a real fuel economizer too! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You need not worry about your hoe if you don't dig up close to the tractor. The further out from the tractor that you dig the safer you are.

I'd almost be ashamed to admit to that. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I wish you lived closer so that I could come over and give you a report on how it works. I'd love to have a backhoe ... maybe one of these days. It's not that I really need one but you know how that goes.

Don't worry, the spring will come soon and you will get to go play. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
